The lodging costs became an issue earlier this year when a Kokomo attorney representing the motel appeared before the city council seeking that amount. Martin had previously committed tens of thousands of dollars to promoting the team.
Since then, two wage garnishment hearings have been set in Cass Circuit Court for Martin.
Logansport's reputation meanwhile suffers while Martin avoids public comment, including following a City Council committee meeting in which council members agreed not to raise his salary in 2025 based on his job performance.
For the sake of our city's future, we implore local residents to sign this petition and share it to send a message that Logansport deserves batter -- and demands it.
Thank you for caring for the future of our city.
