City officials banned any parking at all on the East Broadway Boulevard and changed street signs this year to reflect the change.

But last weekend, it was business as usual when people know the mayor won't enforce laws the city council passes. Cars parked on the grassy knoll of the boulevard and there were no police cars on patrol in sight. Previously, Councilman Scott Peattie complained that the police aren''t enforcing a state law banning golf carts on city streets.

During this administration, just blocks from the boulevard, a woman was shot in her home in an invasion.

The Martin Administration lacks any signature drug bust that makes a statement about drug abuse in the city. When Martin himself fails to acknowledge young people participating in Red Ribbon Week, it shows a lack of priorities that a mayor should have.

These problems and issues are why more than 30 dozen Logansport residents have signed a petition demanding Martin's resignation.
