On Monday, thousands of Cass County residents will pause for a moment, a minute or an hour to honor those neighbors, friends and relatives who died in service to our country. Its these people who gave the ultimate gift to our country that we should always remember, if not for us, then for those around us who need to understand that freedom is never free when it comes to human life. Logansport mayor has made a habit -- a bad one -- of not attending Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies. It's disrespectful, and it's far short of what Logansport expects a mayor to do or be. 

For this solemn reason, along with others mentioned in the petition, please sign the petition calling for his resignation as Logansport mayor. 

Every street in Mount Hope Cemetery has a sign with an American flag on it. American Legion, VFW, VietNow and the 40 et 8 along with the War Mothers have honored generations of our people. Please do your part to tell our mayor that he should, too.
