Petition for Non-Stop Flights between SFO/SJC and HYD

We, the undersigned, impassioned travelers, residents of Northern California and western regions of USA (Arizona, Colorado, Utah & Washington) request non-stop flights from San Francisco Bay Area (SFO or SJC) to Hyderabad (HYD) India.
With the increasing number of professionals and students traveling between these two regions, it is crucial to provide a more convenient travel option. Hyderabad airport recently expanded its capacity to handle 34 million passengers annually built on 5.500 acres (largest airport in India by area). Per the International Transport Association (IATA), India’s annual passenger traffic is expected to grow to around 500 million by 2037.
Keeping the growing needs of the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha in mind the US State Department last year moved into its own $340 million dollar consulate in Hyderabad with 54 visa counters!
Current state: Currently, passengers must endure long layovers and multiple stops which significantly increase travel time and causes much inconvenience. According to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, non-stop flights not only save time but also have a lower chance of delays or cancellations compared to indirect flights. Many individuals, including business executives, tourists, and families, find it challenging to optimize their schedules and budgets due to the absence of a non-stop air link between our cities.
Future state: By implementing daily non-stop SFO-HYD flights, airlines can cater better to this demand while improving customer satisfaction and potentially boosting their own revenues. We urge airlines (United, Air India, American and others) to consider this request seriously for the benefit of countless travelers who make this journey regularly.
