Petition for Justice, Transparency, and Accountability

Petition for Justice, Transparency, and Accountability
The Issue
My name is Robyn from Cottman Investigation Services, and I am an advocate for victims of systemic injustice. Too many lives have been devastated by the negligence, failure and misconduct of police and government bodies, leaving families without answers, justice, or closure.
Suspicious deaths are too quickly dismissed as suicides. Missing persons cases are filed prematurely, without thorough investigation, despite clear signs of foul play. Meanwhile, murderers walk free because police and the DPP refuse to take action unless they get a signed confession.
We are calling for immediate reforms to ensure transparency, accountability, and justice in these cases, including:
- Independent oversight of police investigations and coroners’ decisions.
- Mandatory independent case reviews for all deaths classified as suicides or accidents where families dispute the findings.
- Mandatory independent case reviews for all suspicious disappearances that have not been thoroughly investigated.
- An independent task force to review long-term missing persons cases and investigate potential links to criminal activity.
- Legal requirements for police to share case information with licensed investigators at the request of next of kin.
- A public inquiry into systemic failures in how suspicious deaths and missing persons cases are handled.
Police control all the information, yet too often, they fail to connect the dots. Withholding critical details from investigators and families only deepens the injustice and allows failures to go unchallenged. We demand a system that works for victims and their families—not one that protects negligence, failure of duty and shields the truth.
I have committed myself to fighting for these victims, but I cannot do it alone. We need a united public outcry to push for these reforms, restore trust in our institutions, and prevent further suffering.
Your voice matters. Please take a moment to sign and share this petition. Together, we can demand real change and justice for those failed by the system.
