Dear SL and Trafikverket,

We, the undersigned, are daily commuters and residents of Uppsala, Stockholm, and the surrounding regions. The current disruptions and infrequent train services between Uppsala and Stockholm are causing significant inconvenience and hardship. We urgently call for immediate action to enhance the public transportation system in our areas.

Uppsala Region:

At present, only one train runs every 30 minutes, resulting in overcrowded conditions, frequent delays, and unreliable service. This situation is untenable for those who rely on this service to commute to work, school, and other daily activities. We urge SL to increase the frequency of trains to at least one every 10 minutes during peak hours. This will alleviate overcrowding, improve punctuality, and provide a more dependable service.

Stockholm and Surrounding Regions:

The metro, local, and commuter trains in Stockholm and its surrounding regions are also in urgent need of improvement. Regular delays and disruptions cause significant inconvenience and frustration for passengers. We call on SL to implement better public transportation solutions to ensure timely, efficient, and reliable service across the network.

Additionally, we appeal to Trafikverket to ensure that the tracks are maintained in optimal condition for use by companies like SL. Proper track maintenance is essential for preventing major interruptions and ensuring the smooth operation of train services.

By signing this petition, we demand that SL and Trafikverket take immediate and effective measures to address these issues and improve the train services in Uppsala, Stockholm, and the surrounding regions.
