Let me introduce myself, my name is Ayalew Asfaw Shebeshi,  I am Ethiopian ( half Oromo)  born Australian citizen. As an Australian citizen, I have legal, moral and ethical responsibilities and accountabilities to report when I notice activities exist in the community mention below in details. I can provide additional information if requires at any time.
 
I am writing to you regarding an extremist political activist linked to recent assassination of Artist Hachalu Hundessa and the deaths of over 230 Ethiopian civilians in Oromia state, who is living in metropolitan Melbourne, Dr. Tsegaye Regassa Ararssai  densifies himself as an ethnic Oromo (single ethnic group, where the current Prime Minister of Ethiopia, a novel peace winner of 2019, the HonorableDr.Abiy Ahmed:-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiy_Ahmed) has made extensive use of internet such as Social Media including YouTube to promote hatred and enmity between the various ethnic tribes of Ethiopia. Dr. Tsegaye must not use Victoria, Australia as a safe haven and Australia is not and will not the last hope for this violent extremist and genocide advocate.
 
We all know the Victoria Police (VP) commitment to stopping illegal, criminal, terrorist, community disturbance characteristics and behaviors possessing etc., individual migrant live in the wider Victorian communities. Australia never forget recent terrorist attics in Sydney(on 15–16 December 2014) and in Melbourne(on 10/11/2018)

The nature of terrorism is changing using social media platforms promoting violent extremist ideology and reports from people concerned that someone they know is becoming radicalized towards violent extremism & genocide advocator between communities (for example there are a lot of ethnic based communities of Ethiopian origin in Victoria).
My concern is an individual like Dr. Tsegaye Regassa Ararssa categorized himself an Oromo, using social media as a tool to agitate Oromo ethnic tribe rise by other ethnic based communities like Amhara, Guragie, Somalia, Tigray etc. here in Australia. Dr. Tsegaye has a fake identity as being a doctor, but he is not. He poof and show by his divisive on YouTube video and FaceBook written message. Recently his Facebook page blocked

 He has a very fanatic political view. He also glorifies hate against ethnic or social and religious groups - being incited genocide.
My very grave concern is Dr. Tsegaye, an Ethiopian citizen who moved to Australia as a student to complete his postgraduate course at University Melbourne, Law school publishing 20 articles can be found at (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Tsegaye_Regassa) for further investigation in relation his motives.
Instead of returning to Ethiopia, Dr. Tsegaye Regassa Ararssa chose to apply for permanent residency in this country. I heard his application was rejected but is still appealing for the residency. Now Dr. Tsegaye Regassa Ararssa is living in metropolitan Melbourne whose diatribe on social media platforms has instigated and propagated violence, genocide kings of killing and humanitarian crises in the Oromia state of Ethiopia resulting in ruthless killings of hundreds of ethnic Amhara, Guragie, Tigray and Orthodox Christians, burning of properties, and displacements of thousands. This self-proclaimed Oromo hardliner is known for his association with other radical Oromo ultranationalists, Mr. Jawar Mohamed& Mr. Bekele Gerba (they both arrested at Addis Ababa recently in relation to assassination of Oromo pop singer Artist Hachalu Hundessa), Professor Ezekiel Gebissa (of Kettering University), Dr. Henok Gabisa (Washington and Lee University School of Law) & Dr. Birhanemeskel Abebe Segni( USA-he says” Ethiopia must destroy”:https://youtu.be/vzEe_zoE6u8?t=362
 
These activists have called for bloodshed and ethnic based intra-communal conflicts before on the record.  In fact, it seems to me that Dr. Tsegaye Regassa Ararssa use Australia residency application rejected and still appealing made it hate-speech, genocide, and terrorism. To many of us who know Dr. Tsegaye Regassa Ararssa use his violent behavior for the purpose of supporting his applicationto achieve the recognition of his case to be acceptable by Australian.
 
Although the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) offer Dr. Tsegayeto stay until processing his residency application and enjoy freedom but his actions are above and beyond freedom—down-right incisive call for genocide in Ethiopia while residing in Australia, out of the reach of Ethiopian government laws. It is a recent memory that Mr. Jawar called upon Oromo youth violence and 86 innocent people were murdered.
 
Recently,  Dr. Tsegaye Regassa Ararssa and his associate Mr. Jawar Mohamed & Mr.Bekele Gerbaincited violence in retribution for the death of an Oromo activist (Oromo pop singer Artist Hachalu Hundessa)by an unknown assailant. There is a plethora of evidence on social media and other satellite news archives where the Dr. Tsegayeand Mr. Jawar spewed their hateful diatribes. Some of the news media outlets Dr. Tsegayewas associated with, such as Oromo Media Network (OMN), have been shut down by the Ethiopian government. In addition, some of the people, including Mr. Jawar Mohammed who runs OMN media, and Mr. Bekele Gerba (have been arrested), Professor Ezequiel Gabissa, Dr. Henock Gabissa and Dr. Birhanemeskel Abebe Segni (all live in USA), all advocating violent extremist.
 
Dr. Tsegayeis a genocide inciter, a criminal suspect, immoral and should not be allowed to use social media where he lives, melbourne.  There is no place for a demagogue at a place of free society and freedom. There will be legal action filed against him as soon as possible. However, I am calling Honorable Mr. Reece Kershaw, to take the appropriate steps against a man who has caused so much pain and suffering to millions of people in his native country Ethiopia.
 
If he is not terminating from his action byAFP, we will mobilize social media protest against the beloved AFPas well as a peaceful protest all interstate communities. I pray that HonorableMr. Graham Ashtonwill have the moral fortitude to side on the right side of history.
 
I am sending this letter because the individual is preaching hate speech that leads young and vulnerable people to murder their neighbours, friends and in some instance their families as an ethnic cleansing recently after assassination of Artist & singer Hachalu Hundessa. This individual should be stopped and investigated according to the Australian law as he is involved in a crime that caused innocent people to lose their lives.

I support the petition because, I want Dr. Tsegaye Regassa Ararssato be brought to justice for engaging in inciting and propagating violence in poor Ethiopia against Ethiopians who belong to ethnic groups other than his own while he himself is enjoying the comfort and protection that Australia gives him. Also, I have a fear and concern he is organizing radical Oromo ethnic tribe youth group (here an example: https://youtu.be/JuPwt1D6CNg?t=7)–Oromo Youth Protest Week “የነፃነትናየዴሞክራሲጮራሳምንት” on 07/07/2020 and communities here in Australia (including Victoria state, Melbourne).
