Petition for Adriana Reyes – Protect Our DACA Nurses

Petition for Adriana Reyes – Protect Our DACA Nurses
The Issue
Adriana Reyes began her career at St. John’s Regional Medical Center as a CNA in 2021 and became a Registered Nurse in 2022. She currently serves in the Float Pool, providing essential care across multiple units and consistently stepping in where patients need her most.
Outside of work, Adriana is deeply involved in her community through church volunteering, service, and donations, reflecting the same compassion she brings to her patients every day.
Adriana’s DACA expired on 3/6, and without renewal, she is scheduled for termination on 6/4. This situation does not reflect her performance or dedication, but solely her immigration status.
Maintaining her DACA renewal is critical because without it, she is unable to legally continue working in the United States despite her ongoing commitment to patient care and community service.
We are asking for support and awareness to help protect Adriana Reyes and other essential healthcare workers in similar situations.
