The Issue

Petition for Accountability, Transparency, and Fiscal Stewardship
To: The President of the United States, the U.S. Congress, and the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
Statement of Purpose:
We, the undersigned citizens of the United States, demand an immediate suspension of federal tax collection until the United States government conducts a comprehensive, independent audit of all federal departments and proves to the citizenry that fraud, waste, and abuse have been eliminated.
The Grievances:
Lack of Accountability: Billions of taxpayer dollars are routinely diverted into inefficient programs, fraudulent schemes, and mismanagement.
Fiscal Negligence: Taxation without responsible stewardship erodes public trust and places an unfair burden on taxpayers.
Demand for Transparency: The American people have a right to full visibility into how their hard-earned wages are spent, with the same accounting standards required of private corporations.
Action Requested:
Immediate Cease of Collection: Halt all federal tax collection until a complete audit is finalized and verified.
Comprehensive Audit: Conduct a government-wide audit to identify and eliminate all wasteful spending.
Public Proof: Publish a detailed report proving that oversight mechanisms are in place to prevent future fraud and abuse.

Extension to State and Local Authorities
To: The Governors and State Legislatures of the Fifty States, and the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers (NASACT).
The Grievances:
Misappropriation of State Funds: We demand an end to the diversion of state tax revenue into projects that lack public oversight or fail to provide a measurable return to the community.
Redundancy and Waste: Citizens are frequently double-taxed at the state and local levels for services that remain underfunded or mismanaged by state-level bureaucracies.
Action Requested:
State-Level Moratorium: Immediately suspend state income and excise tax collections until each state’s Auditor General can certify a 100% "clean" audit of all state agencies.
Local Accountability: Mandate that municipal and county governments provide a transparent, real-time public ledger of all expenditures before any future levies are approved.
Elimination of Abuse: Identify and terminate all programs found to be in violation of fiduciary duty to state residents.
