Swifties are coming from all over Australia and some are even flying from New Zealand to see Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour at Accor Stadium. Many of these travelling Swifties are not familiar with navigating Sydney and need their phone battery to assist them, or to call relatives to pick them up, or to text to ensure that they are safe. Swifties would also love to film the concert and film their reactions to surprise songs, which will take up a huge portion of their phone battery. Since many swifties will need their phone battery for navigating Sydney and contacting relatives after the show, they may not be able to film the concert like they expect they would be able to. Since Accor Stadium is not allowing portable chargers, Swifties will need to put away their phones for the show rather than filming some of the show like they wanted to in order to ensure that they have enough battery for after the show to get back to accomodation/home safely. This is why Swifties would appreciate it if Accor Stadium allowed portable chargers to be brought into the stadium, to ensure the safe returns of swifties and also to allow swifties to film the show and their reactions without worrying about saving battery. We need to be able to bring chargers for our phones. If size is an issue, most chargers are small and can even be pocket-sized, for our general safety these rules need to be amended. Chargers should be allowed. For American dates, it was not an issue, what could possibly be wrong with concertgoers bringing chargers for their phones.
