We, the undersigned students of St. Clair College, are calling for a review of the $851.79 Transit Windsor fee charged to every full-time student and embedded within tuition and mandatory student fees.

While we recognize the value that public transit for those who need it, we believe that a mandatory fee of $851.79 warrants greater transparency, accountability, and consideration of whether the current fee structure is fair and reasonable for all students.

Students who do not use Transit Windsor, have alternative transportation, live within walking distance of campus, or are otherwise unable to reasonably utilize the service are still required to pay the full fee. We believe students should have a meaningful voice in determining whether this mandatory transportation fee continues in its current form.
