Baldwin Park Community Garden

The Issue

As a resident of Baldwin Park, I am passionate about reducing my environmental impact and promoting sustainable living. One way to achieve this is by creating a community garden where we can grow our own local seasonal produce.

Community gardens have numerous benefits, including promoting healthy eating habits, as well as provide opportunities for social interaction and community building.

According to the American Community Gardening Association, there are over 18,000 community gardens in the United States alone. These gardens not only benefit individuals but also contribute to the overall health of our planet by reducing carbon emissions from transportation and supporting biodiversity.

I believe that creating a community garden in Baldwin Park would be an excellent way for us to come together as a community. It would provide us with an opportunity to learn new skills, connect with nature, and make meaningful contributions towards sustainability.

I urge our local government officials to consider this proposal seriously and allocate resources towards making it happen. Let's create something beautiful that will benefit both ourselves and future generations!

Thank you for your support!!
