Balance is so important in abortion laws, so every woman is represented.

Balance is so important in this issue because a woman should neither be forced to have an abortion nor forced to carry to term, but focusing only on that issue obfuscates the real problem of how a woman finds herself with an unwanted pregnancy.  Maybe every abortion is an automatic fine for the man who impregnated the woman who has to endure it. 
 
Still, I think there are plenty of cases out there where the woman expected her partner to be thrilled with the pregnancy, and she was disappointed to learn that wasn't the case.  I think those women need plenty of support.  It used to be a rape charge or a marriage license.  Maybe some men need help taking responsibility.  If the woman wants the pregnancy and the man doesn't, a judge can order mediation.  Every case is different and judges are supposed make sure everyone is represented.
 
We can't assume every woman at the abortion clinic wants to be there, just like we can't assume that every woman who is pregnant wants to be pregnant.  We pay judges to figure these things out.
