We, the Grenada Youth Against Sexual and Gender Based Violence, are calling for
a comprehensive and systemic review of Grenada’s response to sexual and gender based
violence. Outrage does not possess the transformative power we need. Goodwill does not
possess the radical impact this country desperately needs. What we need is something
much more difficult to attain, and it will require a combined effort that will involve all of
the nation’s stakeholders: our men, our women, our government bodies, our institutions,
and most importantly, our children.
