Petition Analogue produce an FPGA based Amiga console for their next project.

The Issue

Analogue has been at the forefront of making perfect, or OEM+ versions of all the classic consoles we grew up with, they've done the Nintendo Entertainment System, the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive, the Super Nintendo, the TurboGrafx16, The GameBoy line, the Sega Game Gear, the Atari Lynx, the Neo Geo Pocket, and soon the Nintendo 64.
But I propose they go in a different direction that I think a lot of people (including those in Europe and Oceania) would agree they should do.
Analogue should make an FPGA Amiga console.

The reasoning and justification for doing an FPGA Amiga console (based on either the CDTV or CD32) is very simple:
-There are massive software libraries for these consoles, both new and old, and on both CDs and diskettes.
-Both AmigaOS and the KickStart ROMs still exist and could be officially licensed.
-Americans never got the CD32 officially, and the CDTV sold poorly, thus driving costs up for original hardware, this would bring those prices down, and put these machines in the hands of more gamers.
-Amiga systems are failing at an alarming rate due to hardware issues like batteries failing and custom chips failing. (and idiots on YouTube)
-The Amiga hardware was among the first computers to be fully recreated in FPGA form
-The CD32 controller is still produced in USB form, and could easily be bundled with this hypothetical "Analogue CD32" console.

And if this petition actually makes it to somebody at Analogue, I would like to say one thing, Please don't make this $249 like the Analogue 64 or the special editions of the Analogue Pocket were. $199.99 like the Analogue Pocket was is perfectly fine, it undercuts the prices for original hardware, and it gives those who are curious about trying the hardware a lower barrier of entry.
