Halton Region Smart Water Opt-out Program will cost us $$$. Sign this petition to learn more. Haltoon Region staff have not yet determined the full cost to continue to provide manual meter reading services. Once the manual meter read fee cost is calculated the details will be presented to Council for approval. As noted in Staff Report No. PW-12-23_FIN-19-23, the fee will be based on full recovery of the costs incurred to continue to deliver the manual meter read service for customers that have not adopted AMI technology.
