Firstly, let me tell you a little about me! I'm Lizzie Madden (She/Her) and I'm a student in the LCPS community. I'm an activist. I protest against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Therian/Furry Hate Speech. I love music. One thing I don't like doing though, is telling adults what is right and wrong. 

This is personal to me because my best friend is Trans-Masc. Everyday he has to answer to old names, pronouns, and gets bullied and teased. He is also a Therian. He has to ask the counselor every year to send an email to all his teachers to tell them his name and pronouns. 

It shouldn't have to be like this! What I want to get out of this petition is to have each teacher personally talk to each student and share their name and pronouns. They are already a quarter of the way there. When they're taking attendance they always ask if there's a preferred name that they use. 

While this is good it is tough for students to come out to all students and friends. This could be passed around that the student uses another name and they could be outed. That's why I think it should be a private endeavor. There should be a worksheet that each student fills out or a quick meeting with the teacher.

I'm calling out to  LCPS.org!

I would like to speak at a school board meeting, school assembly, or literally anything that involves speaking publicly! 

Here's what I want:

• More all gender bathrooms
• Sheet or private conversation with teachers about pronouns
• Talk at a public event
• For LCPS to be more LGBTQIA+, Therian, and anyone friendly
