Along with other pet owners, veterinary hospitals should uphold a standard of practice that values the life of every animal admitted to their care. However, this is not the case for pet owners living in Bacolod City. As far as time can tell, numerous complaints were directed towards Bacolod Animal Hospital since the year 2020. Owners expressed their dismay and sadness over the death of their four-legged friends and the suspected malpractice that occurs within the walls of the aforementioned veterinary clinic. Cases such as misdiagnosis, neglect, and improper handling were raised. It is estimated that more than 10 dogs have died in their care over the years.

Hence, this petition calls for accountability and justice towards the pets that were misdiagnosed and killed under the care of Bacolod Animal Hospital (Shopping) and the investigation of the matter at hand.
