I am petitioning an official change in the manner of which we dispose of our garbage. Recycling is becoming increasingly popular but that is only amongst the individual's preference. In too many neighbors, communities, apartment complexes, and businesses trash is sent to our landfills effecting our health and our environment. Piling garbage on an island creating an out of sight out of mind frame of thinking, does not decrease or subdue the harm it is causing mankind. It is just delaying it. I propose that recycling becomes mandatory in every community, business, and home. Taking away the choice of someone threatening the world and the creations on it. Recycling should be treated like we treat our trash. Except, instead of trucks transporting pounds and pounds of garbage to add to a mountain of garbage, our trash can be recycled and reused. So please sign my petition to make our planet just a little better. If you take care of your home, you can have somewhere to live, and inadvertently your home will take care of you.
