Please sign this Petition to support/ help Wiccans, Pagans & Spiritual People having the right to use tarot cards in their religious practice! My son was taken by CPS because of my Spiritual Practices & Spiritual Consulting Career on Keen.com. 

 

 

This is a petition to Change the Laws & to Hold our government & Mental Health System accountable.

The Government and Healthcare System are Violating our First Amendment Freedoms. 

 

To The Mental Health Board : 

We are Petitioning for a change in Patient Intake and Diagnostic Procedures. Specifically a change in regards to the portion of client care related to religious & spiritual beliefs.

 

Patients are asked about their personal religious beliefs in their first counseling appointments.

For Wiccan , Pagan, Spiritual People there has been detrimental discrimination in the mental health system. We are asked about our spiritual practices , we answer questions honestly and then spiritual people are told by mental health care providers that our spirituality does not exist simply because the healthcare provider does not share the same beliefs and is not educated on the culture. 

 I personally have been a victim of this serious issue. I was told by multiple counselors and psychologist that my beliefs and practice of tarot cards are delusion.  I was told also, that my belief in Spirit Animals Medicine & Totems is delusion. As a Native American this is hurtful.

 

These practices are sacred to me and many other spiritual people.

 

I do channeled readings/ spiritual consulting for a career and it is Illegal to deem our divination practices as being delusion or a mental health disorder. This is Illegal due to our First Rights.

He dives into the importance of understanding a patients spiritual practices before deeming it to be an illness. While many pagan and wiccan practices may seem unusual to those not of our religion - they are valid to us and should be protected under the first amendment right .

Spiritual Beliefs and Practices are the reason CPS took my son from my custody.

 

CPS wrote down a reason for taking my child is : She believes she sees and hears spirits that do not exist.

I'm not the only one who's child/ children have been taken for Spiritual Practices and Beliefs.

•No one's child/ children should be taken by CPS because they are wiccan, pagan or spiritual
