Subject : Permission for cages to be put, temporary(for rainy season), for straydogs on back road of juhu versova link road, andheri west

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

We, the animal lovers of juhu versova link road along with NGO Build foundation, working for animal welfare in our area, have a plea to make. During the rainy season the dogs of the back road side of juhu versova link road, are in really bad condition and suffer profusely. They have no way to hide except mangroves and mangroves gets filled with water. 

Building watchmen are instructed not to allow them inside to take shelter.

They hide under cars or in gutters or in the mangroves – where they often drown, get crushed and die a horrible and painful death.

Every year lot of them die silently screaming for help but no one to listen to. 

We the animal lovers of back road and juhu versova link road want to put TEMPORARILY some cages so that atleast they get shelter this monsoon. 

Sir, this will also be helpful in neutering of the dogs as they will get used to the place and will be easier to capture. 

Since you are a veterinary doctor yourself so you will understand the pain of animals more so it is our humble request to you to please permit us to put up temporarily (just for the monsoon months, till October end) some cages on the below mentioned places for the dogs to survive this monsoon.

Here are the places we figured out to put the cages. The cages will be made of wood and taalpatri (pic of the spot attached). They are as per the territory of the dogs and no hindrance, trouble to the normal public.

1) On the Opposite side of the Yashwant building at the corner (pic of the spot attached)

2) On the Opposite side of the Rajiv gandhi institute (pic of the spot attached)

3) On the Opposite side of little ahead of poddar school, at the corner(pic of the spot attached)

4) On the Opposite side of Sangam B (pic of the spot attached)

5) On the corner Entrace to the mangroves on tabela side (pic of the spot attached)

Please consider this on humanitarian grounds and help these poor animals survive the wrath of mother nature this monsoon.

Once the monsoon is over we will take off these cages from places and send you the pics of it too.

Each and every soul needs to survive.
