In March of 1999, the videogame "Pepsiman" was released for the PlayStation 1 in Japan. The game starred Pepsiman, the mascot for Pepsi in Japan, who would run around handing Pepsi to people who needed it. The first cutscene from this game was filmed in Inglewood, at what is now a Unismog building on West Manchester Boulevard.

The character Pepsiman is, while obscure, loved by many who spend a lot of their time on the internet. My friends and I are just a small number of them. It would mean a lot to me and many others if this lesser known, obscure mascot of the 90's can be in the spotlight one last time
