Check out the latest communication to Snohomish County PDS:

Haleh,

Thank you for your prompt reply of 8/4/21 to my inquiry earlier this morning.  I realize that as you point out the status of the Ambleside matter is still the same as it was as of 7/7/21 and that the applicant as you call it needs to resubmit documents to address PDS comments dated 2/20/20.  Are you requiring the applicant to resubmit a new SEPA? Also, WSDOT in their letter dated 8/3/21 to local lawmakers  advised as follows in pertinent part:

"... As noted in our June 9, 2021, response, the Ambleside development is going through a major redesign. We confirmed this again when we contacted the Snohomish County project manager for the Ambleside development on Friday, July 23, 2021. WSDOT will not be able to comment any further on this project unless and until the redesign is submitted to Snohomish County."

As you can see WSDOT said they contacted the county project manager which I understand is you on  Friday 7/23/21 wherein you confirmed a major redesign was underway by the applicant. Is there a record of WSDOT’s contact with you or any notes in regard to it? It doesn’t appear that WSDOT is aware that Silver Lake Creek is an F water fish bearing creek as disclosed by Adopt a Stream per their report of 6/24/21, a copy of which was provided to your office. In all the while PDS declared on their Critical Area Site Plan signed 5/28/10 that this creek was in fact an F water fish bearing creek which the property owner acknowledged.  Neither the applicant nor PDS acknowledged this creek was F water fish bearing at any time to include the applicant’s SEPA.  How did this happen?  Thank you for your consideration.
