SHINE THE LIGHT! 

The citizens have established and proven that Silver Lake Creek is a fish bearing creek. Thank you, Tom and Adopt a Stream Foundation!  Up until now both PDS and Ambleside developer said otherwise.  Had PDS and the developer proceeded with this misconception the proper legal buffers and protections would have been smashed resulting in the inevitable destruction of stream and aquatic life. You may imagine this isn’t the first time a stream or waterway has been impaired or destroyed.  How many times has this happened, and is this indicative of a wider pattern of how PDS and developers carry on?

Please take a look at the email from Adopt a Stream to PDS dated July 14, 2021.  You will see that the county code requires a significant buffer zone for this salmonid bearing stream.
