Brett Peter Cowan was found guilty of killing and raping Daniel Morcombe. He was sentenced to life behind bars, he is now launching legal appeals against his conviction saying that the evidence which proved that he killed innocent Daniel was illegal obtained. He is not denying that he raped and killed Daniel all he is saying is that the police should not have the evidence.
