I am quoting a kind soul,  who raised a petition on another website

People driving along the highway that connects Prados and Alto Barinas in Venezuela were witnesses to a horrifying act of cruelty as a man tied a dog with a rope behind his car and dragged him on the concrete  !

The photos of the badly injured animal were posted on Facebook by one of the witnesses and I confess that it broke my heart to see that poor dog bleeding.

A few people decided to follow the cruel driver and tried to pull him over. When they finally succeeded to do so the driver showed no remorse. He was angry that he was pulled over forcibly by the other traffic participants.

The poor animal was all covered in blood, and was badly burned from being dragged on the concrete at high speed for miles. Meanwhile, the driver was just sitting besides his car, talking on his mobile phone.

The abuser untied the dog and took off and left the injured dog there with his rescuers.

In one photo, the car’s license plate is visible, so there won’t be a problem identifying the abuser. The license plate numbers are: AAK 42P

Please join me in signing the petition and demand justice for this innocent animal. Help me make sure this poor excuse of a human being is brought to justice. That dog is innocent and certainly did not deserve any of this! Together we can persuade the authorities to take action against this so called human and have him punished for his callous act of animal cruelty.

I hereby ask the authorities in the name of every person who signed this petition, to take immediate action and have the driver charged and punished for his acts of animal cruelty. We ask for a severe punishment and we want justice for the injured dog !
