Dogs are most faithful, loyal and friendly animal known to humans on earth. Despite of all these qualities, we are not even able to give this creature, the respect that they deserve.

As we all know dogs and horses are the integral part of Indian army and they are doing their job equivalent to soldiers . They are also ready to die for their mother land just like soldiers but despite of all this, they are not respected for their work. Dogs and horses are killed after their retirement and when the reason was asked for their euthanasia,the army said:-

1.Army dogs know about the army bases and much more information about army.

2.These dogs cannot be given to other organisations or NGO's because these organisations will not be able to give the proper diet as given by the army.

As the citizen of the country ,I respect the security of the country but there are alternatives for them rather than killing. Retired dogs need only shelter and food to live and this is very shameful as Indian army is not be able to give  these two basic things to them.

Here we are not talking about stray animals,we are talking about those brave animals who  served  the country just like other soldiers are doing. Indian army did not kill their soldiers and officials after their retirement.so why these animals? just because they are not be able to speak and express their feelings.

This is an inhumane work.we all should raise our voice against this law.
