A day without food or water is unimaginable, for human. But, when it comes to animals, ignorance and negligence are observed at the source for their existence (food water shelter). Having an uncountable number of street dogs in my area, a non-BBMP locality, and seeing the cruelty against them as they grow in numbers, I'm raising this problem for the street dogs trying to live there each day. Every call made to a certain member who is in charge of ABC plan, has always directed me to another, having made numerous calls for a couple of years now, I still don't have anyone who is in charge of this action in the non-BBMP area. The aggression of these poor and innocent living being intensifies, due to lack of food and when in heat causing a menace in the locality, topping this, Rabies is a friend for these vulnerable dogs, affecting one after the other like Dominos. Surprisingly, the action is taken only once if the affected dog bites a human. The action is to kill the dog. Once a loving pup is now a fear to many in the locality. Had if these dogs are sterilised and vaccinated against the deadly disease, there would be serene in society. Please help me reach this to the concerned board of members to help our furry buddies on street live a better life when they are born in a non-bbmp locality.
