I recently came across many of these videos on YouTube , a worldwide platform in  which I saw videos related  to pranking innocent stray dogs. Such videos solely promote animal abuse by scaring innocent stray dogs using fake tiger, lion or bear stuffed toys and filming their reactions in the name of comedy and humour in order to gain views and likes. I also came across videos featuring people trapping  innocent creatures using large vessels or boxes until the animals were  severely frightened .

 I also could not help but notice a video in which people have dressed up a dog to look like a tiger in order to scare other street dogs . The  dog himself was clueless as to was exactly was going on and very scared .There are also videos in which people secretly go behind a dog's back to create loud noises scaring the dog as dogs have an acute sense of hearing noises and an ability to hear sounds from a long distance far more than the human ear . I believe this is a form of cruelty .

This is important to me as I  feel videos on platforms such as YouTube can greatly influence young minds and can inspire them , but such videos are nothing but bad influences  supporting the act of violence. This  is also important as it made me strongly question humanity and the thought of doing absolutely anything to gain views and popularity. I just want people who take such videos made with the intent to make others laugh without thinking seriously , as to what the dog would be mentally and physically going through while such acts are being done .THIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE.  .LETS HELP STOP IT.

What I would like PETA to do

I would like PETA to help ban such content worldwide on platforms such as YouTube that support animal cruelty or abuse of any nature. They should also move for strict laws and regulations against such acts.
