The Nepean river flooded 12 months ago. It washed away the buoys, that were there to warn boatists about the weir ahead, as it was frequently under water when it had risen.   November 14th,2021 (so just over 2 months) two men capsized on the nepean weir, the river was high and the weir not visible. Fortunately they survived as the clung to trees. BUOYS NOT PUT BACK.. would it take a death??

NO IT WOULDNT TAKE A DEATH !  , my daughters, Australia day this year. Identical circumstances. The most beautiful soul in the world, LOVING MUM OF TWO AND ADORABLE ONLY DAUGHTER. .  The dam had been released into the river, much rain, it was high.  NO BUOYS. SLAMMED INTO THE WEIR WITH 5 OF MY FAMILY ON BOARD, 3 ADULTS , 2 KIDS.- grandchildren.  They watched their mum die, it took over an hour to get her out. The conditions were too dangerous for rescuers who tried desperately.  She gave life to 4 people and is missed dreadfully beyond belief. so young with so much ahead and two children.  DID THEY THEN PUT THE BUOYS BACK??

NO........4 DAYS LATER, PEOPLE THOUGHT IT WAS THE SAME ACCIDENT, as it was identical, Family of 5, 3 adults and 2 children, capsized at the same weir. My daughter's death prompted no action.  The 3 adults are currently in a serious condition and the chiildren are stable in a different hospital. MY GIRL DIED IN VAIN JUST 4 DAYS BEFORE.
