We are plagued by plastics. Everywhere we go, there are plastic bags being utilized just once and then wasted. They end up in landfills and our oceans. They threaten our environment. We want to put an end to single-use plastic bags and implement a more sustainable and cost-effective method of utility to our community members. We sign this petition to place a ban on single-use plastic bags, and charge 10 cents per paper bag used. It will provide incentive for community members to purchase their own sustainable cloth bags.
