We urgently need your support to protect Pedram, a courageous Iranian artist and political activist who is currently under serious threat in Turkey. Despite being registered and accepted by the UN as a refugee, Pedram's situation remains precarious and dangerous. We call upon international authorities to intervene and provide a safe haven for him immediately.

Pedram has been a vocal critic of the Islamic regime in Iran, using his art to highlight the regime's human rights abuses and advocate for freedom and democracy. Unfortunately, this brave stance has made him a target. The regime's agents in Turkey have attempted multiple attacks on his life, creating a constant state of fear and insecurity for him.

Despite being registered with the UN as a refugee, Pedram has faced prolonged uncertainty about his resettlement status. Attempts to seek asylum in another country have been thwarted by Turkish authorities, leading to his arrest and further endangering his life.

We Demand:

Immediate intervention by the UNHCR and relevant international bodies to expedite Pedram Malakooti's resettlement to a safe third country.

Assurance of protection and safety measures for Pedram while he remains in Turkey.

Increased international pressure on Turkish authorities to respect Pedram's rights as a registered refugee and allow for his safe departure from Turkey.
