Hey Neighbors,

We haven't posted an update in a while, and the reason for this is that there hasn't been any news from DOT or the City on the promised Austin Street study. Sadly, the city isn't known for moving with a purpose.

But we aren't waiting around! Neighbors for A Safer Austin Street have decided to start an Open Street right on Austin St, between 71st Ave and 71st Rd, weekends, from 11 am to 5 pm during the summer and fall. Please sign our letter of support!

We aim to have events and pop-ups, and most importantly, bring space and safety to that segment of Austin Street.

This will be our first time running an Open Street, so we will need all the help we can get! If you want to help run the Open Street, please email me to pedro@ASaferAustinStreet.com.
