Hey neighbors,

The DOT commissioner is coming to town! They will be holding a community engagement forum at the Boro Hall on Sept 18 at 6:30 pm. See the attached image for more information.

This is an excellent opportunity to talk to DOT about our beloved Austin St and other issues in our community! To RSVP, email ebueno@dot.nyc.gov.

Here are some points to bring up if you attend:

1. The narrow sidewalks of Austin St
2. The unreliable and slow Q23 and how Austin St's congestion is a big reason for it
3. The overall amount of congestion on Austin St
4. The over 100 injuries that have occurred on Austin St since 2018. 

And anything else you can think of, related or unrelated to Austin St! This is an opportunity to push for a better Central Queens overall!
