We are currently requesting the Board of Education to explore options to implement On Site Before & After School Care for our school district.  As a town filled with many dual-income households, having safe and convenient care for our children should be a top priority.  Options for daily and hourly services can help with some of the burdens busy families face and would also provide additional income for the schools.  Keeping our children in one school for the day is a safer option then long bus rides to off site care. Local businesses could also get involved and offer workshops for the children (i.e. arts and crafts, yoga, martial arts, etc.) along with volunteer opportunities for high school students.  We are proud of our town and our schools and look forward to working with the Board of Education to find a solution for our families.
