Please change the current Ontario Law: Ontario Fishery Regulations, 2007 - SOR/2007-237 that states – In the province of Ontario the inability to own the “Snakehead” breed of fish, to only ban the specific breed of Snakehead fish to “Red Snakehead – Channa Micopeltes” this will align with the other provinces in Canada who allow owning these other Snakehead breeds: African Snakehead (Parachanna obscura) 14 inches Chinese Snakehead (Channa asiatica) 14 inches Dwarf snakeheads 10 inches Channa bleheri (is the only nestbrooding species of this group) Channa burmanica Channa gachua Channa harcourtbutleri Channa orientalis Channa stewartii The ““Red Snakehead – Channa Micopeltes” should be the only fish with in the breed ban to reamain within the ban as it can grow to 7 feet and 22 pounds I love the Snakehead breed of fish and feel there is no threat to owning the other breeds in this category.
