PCHS STUDENTS CORE VALUES and VISION
These signed signatures, respectfully, followed in the path of growth from PCOM to PCHS, supporting the changing times. We provided our support and voice behind PCHSs Values and Vision.
WE have empowered and given our voice and support, empowering individuals, the team, the demographics, the underdog, the unheard, the silenced, the minority, and to the institution and stood behind our community in all of our daily actions.
WE have been taught that we are the catalyst for change, and we are steadfast in our morals in our desire to do no harm.
WE have been taught that our integrative health and science principles play a critical role in treating the sick and keeping life in balance.
WE acknowledge the adoption of new mandates, but not at the cost or expense of our own health, or that of our patients.
WE are a group that wholeheartedly believes in the adoption and expansion of traditional medicine and integrative health science principles. Our beautiful Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has worked for thousands of years instilling little fear in humans. TCM exists side-by-side in modern medicine with little drug interaction or side effects. Class upon class, podcast upon podcast, clinic shift upon clinic shift, we learn about the success of TCM.
WE are coming together by supporting health and wellbeing through our actions, not to divide, segregate, harass, intimidate, scoff, discriminate, retaliate, or offend, but to support TCM. We believe in TCM as the history, annuals, textbooks, and writing has timelessly proven their efficacy.
WE are a thunder-house of researchers through PCHS teachings. After taking what we have been taught and reviewing the data, we cannot, nor will not, accept incomplete and ever-changing data and ignore the big picture.
WE have learned additional critical thinking, even before arriving at PCHS. We understand that if something comes with a warning, we are acutely and universally aware that WE will suffer a consequence. Every vaccine and swab test comes with a warning.
WE do not only speak for ourselves, we speak for our patients. The patients we attend feel that they have no voice. They are in pain. They are mentally broken down. So are we.
WE all offer, and we all partake, in our beautiful herbal medicine, acupuncture treatments, bodywork, as well as provide a shoulder to cry on, to each other, and to our patients. We have discovered the best medicine is compassion and a hug. Even as children, we learned that if you squeeze hard enough, the broken pieces will stick back together, long enough for us to push through another day or a lifetime. If we are to compassionately attend to our fellow humans, we must also uphold moral values and work with integrity. Yet, we do not notate reportable findings for the patients who state they are injured from the vaccine, we dismiss them.
WE no longer play. We use our Qi to defend our rights and freedoms, and pushing back against segregation, but it is worth it. WE believe in bodily freedom and freedom of religion. This is not your choice to make, it is ours.
If WE are to improves lives, we cannot disconnect the body from the spirit, or yin from yang. We must nourish, support, and balance each. Our spirits have been crushed by a hostile environment, discrimination, harassment, offensive comments, retaliation, and infringement on our rights and we feel disconnected.
WE are failing to maintain health at many levels and sinews, and we are not willing to vaccinate or test at the expense of our health. We believe in TCM, and we also believe in bodily freedom. We may choose to take the vaccine (we are not all anti-vaxers) at a later date when more data is available, we may choose to leave PCHS, we may choose to take legal counsel, and many of us may continue to be the voice of future generations. Or, it may be that all of us will no longer have the right to choose in the future.
WE embody the intention of improving lives exponentially. If WE continue ignoring our inner voice, our patient's voice, and our own voices, and if we ignore the data and the warnings, we not only hurt ourselves, but we hurt our future generations. It is in these moments that we gift our history and actions to our children and pass along our story to everyone who may follow in our footsteps.
WE are part of the transformation of the structure and economics in healthcare, at PCHS and beyond.
WE are taught to bring education to people and to continue to learn. Through our critical thinking, practices, and research. PCHS has taught us that science is a moving target, ever-growing and that we all still have a lot to learn.
WE desire to lead by example, to work, to enjoy life, live, and study together harmoniously, with compassion, with a fierce desire to expand our knowledge, and above all…live with kindness.
WE are your PCHS community and we believe in this TCM medicine.
MAY WE REMIND YOU OF YOUR VALUES and YOUR VISION, ECHO YOUR WORDS, REMIND YOU, and REASSURE YOU…WE ARE ON THE SAME SIDE:
