We are calling for full transparency regarding the proposed Winchester Ranch development near River Road and Myakka State Forest.

This project, discussed at a scale of thousands of homes, would impact one of the last large undeveloped areas in South Sarasota County.

Before any approvals move forward, the community deserves clear answers on:

• Flooding risks to nearby neighborhoods
• Traffic and evacuation safety on River Road
• Loss of natural land and wildlife habitat
• Overall environmental and infrastructure impacts

We are asking for:

• All environmental, wildlife, flood, and traffic studies to be fully accessible
• Clear, easy-to-understand summaries of those findings
• Adequate time for public review before any decisions are made

This is not about stopping growth.
This is about transparency, safety, and responsible planning.
