We have a massive, breaking-news infrastructure update to share with our 815 signers! This afternoon, our neighborhood coalition received a formal email response from Megan Johntony-Clark, P.E., the Assistant District Traffic Engineer for PennDOT District 11.
The state has officially confirmed that the developer has NOT submitted a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) to PennDOT for review. As a direct result of our community's safety push, PennDOT is legally requiring a full traffic study and regulatory review before any Highway Occupancy Permits (HOP) can be approved on West Liberty Avenue.
This completely halts the fast-track construction timeline and proves the borough cannot move forward without extensive corridor data. Our core steering team is meeting this Sunday to lock these official state records directly into our 10-slide visual presentation binders.
