Today the Gold Coast Bulletin announced the below.
Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3A: Labor matches Coalition’s $112m funding commitment to Broadbeach-Burleigh tram link.
There is now NO clear choice between the two major federal parties, both have committed funding to stage 3A. The LNP have indicated that they have no intention to go beyond Burleigh with the light rail, Labor has not yet said what it would do.
