Racism has been an ongoing issue within Ottawas public school boards. The issue has had long lasting affects on the youth who have been victims to it, affecting their mental health, and overall survival. While the stories of youth have continued to be expressed, they have been ignored continuing the cycle of racism and discrimination. 

We are calling on the Ontario Ombudsman to open a public investigation into the racism that is occurring within school boards in Ottawa. Specifically the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, Ottawa Catholic School Board, French Language Public School Board, and French Language Catholic School Board.
