Dear Mr Langham, Thank you for your email dated the 15th of July 2015. You are correct that I looked into the Racial Profiling implied by the Mail Online extensively. Your reply to my email just reconfirms my allegation. Apologizing for me being upset is undermining, I am not upset, I am outraged. Emily Payne's intent was quite clear and very obvious to everyone. Let me dissect your email for you, so when you read it back you will realise how idiotic it sounds. Firstly, you mentioned about the photographs used all had the parents consent, that might be the case and no one is disputing that fact. The Mail Online had numerous positive pictures of the children dressed up in various professions but, Emily Payne decided to throw in a negative picture as well. Bearing in mind the article was about a positive environment for children. It was not necessary for the Mail Online to highlight the fact that Kidzania had a prison, it was actually an irrelevant piece of information. The capture that came with the picture helped spread the subliminal racial profiling message. I have read other media coverage on Kidzaina, who were also present at the opening day and it's not included in their articles. I would love to know the name of the so called reputable photo agency that released the picture of the boy in prison, they should also be named and shamed. Secondly, the fact that you did not have a flood of complaints is irrelevant. Advising me that you only had one complaint means absolutely nothing. If people chose to bury their heads in the sand, that does not give the Mail Online the green light to get away with subliminal racism. If the family of the boy also chose not to complain, that is also their prerogative. The image of the boy in prison has an effect on all black people because, the Mail Online purposely indirectly implied that black people are destined to end up in prison. For that reason, you should publicly apologise. Lastly, maybe you should take a look at your comment box and you will notice that your readers also found the picture of the boy in prison offensive too. Your arrogance towards this matter does not surprise and neither does it faze me. I have been made aware that, the Mail Online is a despicable extremist rag with an absolutely shocking history, I am sure Serena Williams would agree with me. The Mail Online will stop at nothing to sell a story. Carry on spreading your garbage, you might think you got away with it this time. There is an old saying "Everyday for the thief one day for the owner of the house". Kind regards Peace Adetoro
