7th UPDATE ON St THOMAS SCHOOL PETITION ALLTHAT MATTERS ARE THE DECISIONS WE MAKE COUNCILLOR BARBER WHO DO YOU REPRESENT PARENTS, CONSTITUENTS OR Mrs BRINDLE? Whoever wrote the letter dated, but once again not signed, 30th June 2016. I have never written about members of your current staff, with the exception of yourself. I have enabled ex-members of your staff whose careers and lives you have destroyed to tell their stories. The only children Angela Walker and I have written about are the nursery toddlers that you put at risk. Mr Bailey has said that you did not proposition him. But in a copy of an email I have received, Gary says “If he hadn’t mentioned my name I’d have ignored it...” Why IN HEAVENS NAME would a much loved and respected teacher need a “discreet exit?” People who know Gary are querying whether he wrote this unsigned letter? Louise Goodman, Please read 4th Update about the destruction of St Thomas Playschool Nursery and perhaps Jenna Lowe’s moving letter. If you had something of value stolen from you and it was then given to somebody else, would you want it returned to you? Louise, the saddest thing I have discovered throughout this sorry mess, is the amount of people who have no conscience, people who appear not to know right from wrong! Fiona Helen Glover writes: Governor meeting minute are not public, as are only a working document for those directly concerned---answer, I have two years back minutes from the Freedom of Information Act. For example, there is no record of a Letting agreement being voted on. Why would this be secret when we have lost two years of pantomimes, and church activities? If the minutes had been published, this could not have happened. Also the School Governors have been a contributing cause of three years of troubles, ask Drama Group, Playschool, Vikki Heath, Angela Walker, Caroline Morris, Donna Cunliffe and Harriet Chan!!! Donna Cunliffe writes: I have a story to tell about Mrs Brindle, my son goes to St Thomas school and back in October when I was 5 months pregnant she banned me from school and accused me of assault, up until this day I am banned. I am not allowed on, in or around the school premises. Only recently have I been allowed to stand outside the office gates and everyday a member of staff from the office brings my son out to me. It is an absolute joke because everything she has said and done is a lie. Jane Dolan Broad writes: Has anyone had access to her references, where did she teach before St Thomas’ speak to people she worked with, she must have done this before, get evidence or you’re just banging your head against a brick wall---answer: Jane I have before me a sheaf of letters up to the Rt Hon David Laws MP Minister of State for Schools and everyone in between, OFSTED, Education and Unions. And still nothing was done! As regard Mrs Brindle’s references, the Head Teacher at her last school, who must have been desperate to get rid of Mrs Brindle who was her Deputy Head. She wrote Mrs Brindle a ‘glowing reference’. See Update 6. Jane, you should try battling with these people without a conscience on your own. The threat has been made to sue me---what would you do? By the way---Mrs Brindle is leaving! Contrast the situation of these two Governors Minutes of a Governors meeting held 9th September 2015: “Mr Thompson took the floor to offer an apology to the Head Teacher for remarks made during previous discussions around the church Drama Society’s use of the school hall. Mrs Brindle was not willing to accept the apology as it had been expressed.” Ken’s association with the church Drama Society goes back many, many decades. When one demands an apology it is only ladylike to accept it and not humiliate an elderly gentleman who is in poor health! I may as well say what I think, what were the other ‘governors’ doing, just sitting watching your humiliation, Ken? Richard Barber’s Governor Letter dated 30th June 2016: A person by the name of Charles Proctor has constantly posted lies and unsubstantiated accusations against our wonderful head teacher Mrs Brindle...not one lie or unsubstantiated accusation of mine is named, I have taken great care to only write acts or behaviour substantiated by documents or witness. There is so much one could and should write about Mrs Brindle’s conduct: Angela Walker says that Mrs Brindle stopped the Nursery toddlers from participating in the school sports day even though the toddlers had taken part in the School sports day for the past 20+ unbroken years! Mrs Brindle even lied to the police which resulted in two officers visiting Mrs Rigby’s home at 11 pm on a Saturday evening under false claims that she was harassing parents! I am not the only one who has attempted to bring Mrs Brindle to book: Angela Walker started a petition to protect her nursery: Howard Morris got has far as a cabinet minister, (see above) Councillor Yvonne Klieve, Rev John Reed, School Admin Officer Jo Rigby and there are others, who for the moment wish to remain anonymous. Teachers and members of staff treated badly who won’t come forward, but a subpoena will clear them of all blame and allow them to tell their stories and regain their peace of mind. The Petition has 732 internet votes and 686 votes from canvassing Golborne’s few remaining shops throughout the winter months 1,418 votes in total far from being on my own, how many votes did you get Richard. Far from being a pariah, I am welcomed wherever I go. I was at a funeral, a chap I had never seen before wanted to shake my hand and the people in the vicinity congratulated me. I was in ASDA shopping when a chap came up to me and said that the church should give me a presentation. The knowledgeable gentleman also told me about Frank Rutter’s role in the construction of the Parish Hall. (Please see below) I found that a Petition friend had put Councillor Barber’s Letter on my computer, with the message I had lots of friends. At least Paul Gleave and Ken Ince had the good grace to resign from the School Governors when they finally reached the realization that Mrs Brindle is a woman without a conscience. Say what really happened gentlemen, let us heal the wounds, and all get back to some sort of normality. ( I will repeat once again I came into this mess not wanting to harm a soul and after 10 months of being constantly let down,- I had never understood that a community could be so traumatized by fear - I am still of the same mind of not wanting to harm a single soul.) However, we are dealing with people without scruples. (Please see 1959 newspaper article) Golborne Parish Church’s new £15,000 assembly hall and extension were opened by The Lord Bishop of Liverpool. Who commended Rector Clague saying that the hall would be of inestimable value to the parish (not the school)? The Reverend Clague had before building begun, charged his trusted lieutenant, the peoples’ Warden of St Thomas Church, Frank Rutter, with the duty of supervising the building of the Parish Hall. Not the school or education authorities-but the church! The sequence is as follows: Rector, raising the required funds, Church Warden, supervising the construction and the Lord Bishop, opening the assembly hall for the use of the parish. The scrupulous way the 1959 people worded the conditions, it is as if they envisaged small minded people full of their own importance claiming the hall for one selfish use at the total exclusion of all other wholesome activities. The same question keeps raises its ugly head, Councillor Barber, just who do represent parents, constituents or the wonderful Mrs Brindle? PLEASE POINT OUT THE LIES AND UNSUBSTANTIATED ACCUSATIONS BELOW? THE DRAMA GROUP AND CHURCH HAD USED THE PARISH HALL FOR AN UNBOKEN 60 YEARS? THAT ANGELA WALKER’S NURSERY BUSINESS WAS STOLEN FROM HER AND GIVEN TO SOMEBODY ELSE? ALTHOUGH THE PLAYSCHOOL CLASSROOM WAS VACANT THE TODDLERS WERE FORCED TO USE THE UNSATISFACTORY COMPUTER ROOM FOR A PROLONG PERIOD OF TIME? IN NOT ALLOWING THE TODDLERS TO USE THE VACANT COUNCIL CONSTRUCTED PLAY AREA, Mrs BRINDLE PUT THE CHILDREN AT RISK (YOUR CHILDREN) MAKING THEM GO TO PUBLIC PARKS FOR RECRATION PERIODS, CROSSING A MAJOR ROAD? Mrs BRINDLE FORCED THE CANCILATION OF THE 2016 PANTOMIME BECAUSE SHE WOUND NOT ALLOW THE REV REED TO HAVE A KEY TO THE SCHOOL? WHY DIDN’T COUNCILLOR BARBER REPORT THIS TO A FULL WIGAN COUNCILLORS’ MEETING, WHO HAD GIVEN FUNDS FOR THE PANTOMIME TO BE PERFORMED IN THE PARISH HALL? I HAVE THE LAST TWO YEARS OF GOVERNOR’S MINUTES FROM THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT. (LETTING AGREEMENT) THERE IS NO RECORD OF ANY LETTING AGREEMENT PROPOSAL, BEING PROPOSED, SECONDED AND VOTED ON? IN FACT PAUL GLEAVE SAID THEY DID HAVE A VOTE, BUT NOT ON THAT SPECIFIC PROPOSAL. Mrs BRINDLE DISTORTED THE PROPOSAL? WERE OFSTED AND WIGAN COUNCIL NOTIFIDE THAT Mrs BRINDLE HAD STOPPED THE NURSERY PLAYSCHOOL FROM THE USE OF THEIR NORMAL CLASSROOM AND PLAY AREA BEFORE Mrs WALKER LOST HER OFSTED RATING OF GOOD? IS BARBARA TALYOR’S STORY TRUE? IS VIKKI HEATH’S STORY TRUE, THAT Mrs BRINDLE HAS STOPPED VIKKI EARNING A LIVING FOR HERSELF AND YOUNG SON FOR LONGER THAN 18 MONTHS? IS IT TRUE THAT THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE ALL NEEDED COUNSELLING AFTER FALLING FOUL OF Mrs BRINDLE’S FEARFUL TEMPER. CAROLINE MORRIS, VIKKI HEATH, HARRIET CHEN AND THAT ANGELA WALKER AFTER THE FIRST ENCOUNTER TOOK A MEMBER OF HER STAFF WITH HER? THAT Mrs BRINDLE WAS EMPLOYED UNDER FALSE PRETENCES? THAT PAUL GLEAVE FAILED TO REPORT A CONFLICT OF INTERESTS? THAT PAUL’S DAUGHTER WROTE Mrs BRINDLE’S REFERENCE? PAUL SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE ROOM BEFORE PROCEDINGS BEGUN? THAT A YOUNG MALE TEACHER WAS FORCED TO RESIGN FROM HIS POST? Mrs BRINDLE IS A WOMAN WHO TAKES OUTRAGEOUS RISKS? PLEASE, WHICH OF THE ABOVE IS A LIE OR UNSUBSTANTIATED?
