As a student myself, I have faced the problem of getting lost, particularly in the complex buildings of the University of Illinois at Chicago campus, including the Design Building. Dealing with complex building layouts is a serious issue that contributes to tardiness and missed appointments. It's high time to utilize the benefits of modern technology, such as Augmented Reality (AR), to improve student experiences, and assist in our navigation around campus. There are proven implementations where AR has significantly improved navigation indoors, such as at Gatwick Airport which enabled over 90,000 passengers to find their way without assistance in just a few months. This technology can make our confusing campus far more accessible and flexible for all. We are advocating for the implementation of AR Navigation throughout the University of Illinois at Chicago. Let's make our campus easier to navigate. Sign this petition and let the UIC administration know that we need AR Navigation on our campus.
