Training Becomes Habit…Tiny Knew Exactly Where She Belonged

Today I caught one of those small moments that shows what consistent service dog training can become. I was trying to film Tiny as we walked into the hospital and, because I was holding my phone, I accidentally had her walking outside of her normal working position. Tiny noticed. She turned, looked back at me, and moved herself right back to my right side where she has been trained to work. I didn't correct her. I didn't reposition her. She knew where she belonged. Service dog training is built through repetition, trust, teamwork, and countless hours together. Eventually, training becomes habit.
