WE THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA DEMAND:

For 25 years our votes have not counted because politicians appoint, pay, and declare election winners.

We will no longer accept "selection". We demand "election".

Therefore we call on the National Assembly to IMMEDIATELY pass:

1. THE SIEC(State independence electoral commission) INDEPENDENCE AND FUNDING ACT 2026

To stop Governors from controlling Local Government elections by:

- Letting ‘State Judges + Lawyers’ appoint SIEC Chairman

- Paying ‘SIEC direct from FAAC’ not through Governor

- Making ‘Speaker’ certify results live

2. THE FEDERAL ELECTORAL CERTIFICATION ACT 2026*

To stop abuse in Presidential elections by:

- Letting *NJC + NBA* appoint INEC Chairman

- Making *VP + NASS* count and certify Presidential results in public

- Allowing *Diaspora Nigerians* to vote for President

*WHY NOW?*

2027 is 16 months away. If we don’t pass this now, 2027 will be like 2023.
