📢Pass the American Dream and Promise Act-  Protect Dreamers!

 

The American Dream and Promise Act is a crucial piece of legislation that provides a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers -young immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children. These individuals grew up in the United States, contribute to our economy, and call this country home, yet they continue to live in uncertainty.

Currently, Dreamers only have temporary protection under DACA, a program that does not provide a direct path to citizenship. Many Dreamers live in constant fear of deportation despite the fact that they were raised in the U.S., have no other home, and contribute daily to society as students, workers, healthcare professionals, and business owners.

If passed, this law would:

✅Provide permanent protections for Dreamers and TPS holders.

✅ Establish a clear path to citizenship for thousands of immigrants.

✅Strengthen the U.S. economy, adding an estimated $799 billion to GDP and 285,400 jobs over the next decade.

✅ Keep families together and allow Dreamers to plan for their future without fear.
