We’re excited to share an important update on Jesse’s Law.

With the support of Senator Jo Comerford, Representative Homer Gomez, and their teams, both a Senate and House version of Jesse’s Law have officially been filed and assigned docket numbers in the Massachusetts Legislature. This is a meaningful step forward in the legislative process.

You can follow the bills here:

Senate Bill (SD.3452):
https://malegislature.gov/Bills/194/SD3452

House Bill (HD.5398):
https://malegislature.gov/Bills/194/HD5398

At this stage, both bills are under review by their respective Rules Committees. The next step is for the bills to be admitted by both chambers so they can formally move forward in the legislative process. While late-filed bills are not guaranteed admission, we are encouraged by the progress so far and by the continued advocacy happening behind the scenes.

If and when the bills are admitted, they will receive new permanent bill numbers the links above will remain active so you can continue to follow along.

We are deeply grateful to everyone working on this effort and to all of you who continue to support Jesse’s Justice and advocate for change. We’ll continue to share updates as we receive them.

Thank you for standing with us. 🖤♥️
