Women, men.. parents, are constantly getting harassed by others who want to use the CPS “anonymous” calls to harass people with children. 
Parents are having their lives invaded as OFTEN as someone calls and makes up a story about the parent they have a personal vendetta against. 
This petitions intent is to change the system.. to make it fair for all parties involved. Obviously people are going to call for situations where children really ARE being abused or neglected and don’t want their names revealed, but there is a way to report this without the other party finding out who reported it. 
it is not fair for innocent parents who are trying to raise their children in a normal home to be invaded and harassed all because someone dislikes them. 
i believe setting boundaries for the calls would be the best way to solve this problem. Screening the calls, having someone report their social security number each time they call to the hotline. If this happens, Then the only reason for that information to be accessed is if someone reports they are being harassed or have a certain amount of cases open in a short amount of time. Officials could be the only people who can access it and only report to the client whether or not they believe they Are being harassed or not and take the situation from there. This situation would obviously be investigated. If it is determined this person is being harassed, the person performing the action of harassment could have a fair warning from CPS themselves about abusing the system and then if it continues, the name be revealed to the victim and the legal action can be taken. 
Doing this, will protect everyone involved and their privacy rights, protect callers from being “found out,” but at the same time protecting the innocent parents from being harassed and IF they are being harassed, this gives them leverage to take legal action against said person for harassment. 

I came up with this petition because I became a victim of harassment, and still am. I’ve been accused of things as a mother that I would never in a million years do and that case was closed and IMMEDIATELY after.. since that didn’t work, my children were accused of something so disturbing I would not even explain in this petition. I know, and everyone else knows (even the CPS worker told me it was obvious who keeps reporting me) who it is AND THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. All I can do is set back and allow these people to invade my life, check out my home every time I’m reported, check my kids out of school to send my children to forensic evaluations, And so much more while the person harassing me gets to set back in their living room and be happy about making mine and my kids lives miserable.. just to do it yet again. I have to constantly defend my parenting, my discipline techniques, my home, my children, and PROVE I am a fit mother just to get these people to leave me alone, close their case, get another call, and open another one and it’s NOT OKAY!
