Did you know that EUSD promoted a drag show to all district families in September 2022? The “Queerest Halloween Drag Show” was sponsored by Align Surgical Center, a gender reassignment surgery clinic. EUSD families were marketed to because Superintendent Dr. Andreé Grey had a signed contract with the event organizer and founder of TransFamily Support Services (TFSS), Kathie Moehlig. This was one of several contracts EUSD has signed with TFSS.
You can view those annual contracts, as well as the 2019 contract for seminars with La Costa Heights Elementary, Ocean Knoll Elementary, and Paul Ecke Elementary teachers and staff below.
Was Kathie Moehlig even vetted by Superintendent Dr. Andreé Grey and the EUSD School Board*?
Ms. Moehlig adopted an infant with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome whom she diagnosed as “transgender” at 9 years old (click here and here). Moehlig transitioned her child at 11 years old with puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, treatments that even gender clinicians maintain are irreversible (click here). When her child was 14, Mohelig took her to a surgical center, similar to that of Align Surgical Associates, to have her healthy breasts amputated (click here).
Transfamily Support Services’ ultimate objective is the medical transition of young children. Moehlig boasts about being responsible for facilitating hundreds of double mastectomies of young girls (click here). The medical director of TFSS is Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy, who has performed a double mastectomy on a patient as young as 13. If her patient regrets her surgery, Dr. Olson-Kennedy says that she can just get new breasts (click here). She also advocates for “genital reassignment” surgeries on elementary-age patients. You can even read more about Moehlig and Dr. Olson-Kennedy here.
Superintendent Dr. Andreé Grey and EUSD Board Members* never apologized or disclosed their relationship with Kathie Moehlig or TFSS when addressing parents who expressed concerns over the appropriateness of the”family friendly” drag show.
